Edinburgh - Libby's view

Similar to Oxford, I am in love with Edinburgh! Once again, they embrace the old architecture and celebrate it's history.

We toured Edinburgh Castle and was not disappointed. St. Margaret's Chapel is so small, but it served for two weddings while we were there! Beautiful!

The Great Hall is something to take in. It's not as "great" (in size) as one might imagine, but learning the history of some of the things that happened in it was fascinating. The walls are covered with weaponry and the ceiling beams are original and still look terrific.

We walked the Royal Mile, taking in the scenes of the old buildings that house Cathedrals, Parliament, Shops, restaurants and cafes, etc. We took the Premium tour at the Scotch Whisky Experience and enjoyed the history of Scotlands distilleries and viewing the largest known collection of Whisky.

We closed out the day with dinner at Nanyang Malaysian Restaurat
